Women To Be Asked About Domestic Violence

.

Women To Be Asked About Domestic Violence Every woman admitted to hospital with an injury should be asked if she has suffered domestic violence, controversial new guidance suggests.

In other words, the government's quest to break up people's intimate relationships continues.

This isn't a surprising developement considering a study incorrectly showed that domesctic violence was the leading cause of attendence to emergency departments for women.

I challenged this and in one blog a woman told me to go to the mortuary to see all the dead women down there. She was rather incredulous when I informed her that they would have preserve all the bodies for one year and then put them all in one mortuary and then this would leave 99% of the mortuaries without a deceased of DV.

Perhaps 1 in 2 mortuaries might get one victim of DV per year, this also includes the male victims.

I do know that all expectant mothers are now screened for DV and not a single expectant father is ever screened as a possible victim.

Meanwhile...

I bet he deserved it!

"We drove up to traffic lights on our way to a bar and across the road there was a girl smashing a bottle and thrusting it into her boyfriend's neck. He was covered in blood and tried to get away by crawling across the bonnet of a car. But she came after him and stabbed it into his face and gouged it round and round.

"Seeing fights is a way of life for teenagers, isn't it? I don't think I've ever been in a club and not seen a fight. Most of the lads carry knives. If you ask them why, they say it's for defence because everyone else has one. These days, for boys, it's not about who is the hardest man, it's who has the biggest, shiniest, most lethal knife.

"They get into a ruck over the slightest thing. For looking at someone the wrong way, picking up the wrong pint. No one uses their fists any more. It's always weapons. Knives, knuckle-dusters, guns even. I've seen girls with knives, but mostly the girls attack people with smashed bottles. And it's usually boys they attack."
