He Looked After The Children; But She Gets Them

.

He Looked After The Children; But She Gets Them "It was as if she was losing all respect for me, just because I was the one at home, doing the domesworktic duties. Then, one day two years ago, she announced she was leaving me - and taking the children with her.

Richard is still desperately fighting for better access to the two children he did so much to raise, but now sees only every other weekend. 'It's no wonder I am suffering from stress, and have gone from living in the lovely home we owned to a two-bedroom flat in a much rougher area of town.

Vanessa Lloyd-Platt - a divorce lawyer - says there is a huge problem built into the legal system at a time when more and more fathers are becoming primary carers for their children.

"There has been a massive turnaround in roles within a marriage, but there is still a very strong belief in the legal system that allowing the father to have residency of the children is somehow against the natural order of things, and many judges still believe the children will be better off with their mother."

So much for 'equality', eh?

(Also see my piece Judges to see how even the topmost family judge lied about the courtroom biases against fathers in an attempt (at the time) to scupper the claims of Fathers for Justice.

Harry,
I've just posted on another page.. a suggestion for - a league table of the worst countries for (legally) disenfranchising children and emasculating men. Again, check out Article 41 of the Irish Constitution...and it's implications for men...don't forget Ireland's lovely in-camera-rule ! By the way, I should remind fellow sufferers..that they should never embrace the word access where their children are involved...this implies a kind of acceptance of women's pre-eminence in law. Equal parenting and nothing less should be demanded. If women demand this superiority over men...let's have it out in the open...like, for example..adverts in all those brides magazines..not to mention all registry offices and churches ! Think the women would allow that 'warning' to be advertised..not on your nellie !! Why kill the golden goose !!
